Complete SAWING LINE for HARDWOOD in Serbia

Our customer Strugara Radanović is a well known sawmill in Serbia focusing on sawing of mainly beech but also oak logs. To support the rapid growth of their company they invested in an all new complete sawing line from Mebor.

FULLY CUSTOMISED TO THE NEEDS OF THE CUSTOMER

First the logs are debarked with the SLH 1200 debarker, which works without an operator and is fully automatic.
The heart of the line is our exceptionally fast VTZ 1400 PLUS vertical band saw, highly productive and exceptionally energy efficient. Boards travel automatically to the automatic edger with scanning VR 900 S. It scans and optimised sizes to be cut from the boards. Due to focus on recovering highest value from the boards, the machine also includes lasers to display sizes on the board, so that the operator can verify the decisions and choose the ideal cutting pattern for maximum value of wood.
After edging, the boards are also cross cut to suitable length, based on the new SCEL cross cut saw. This machine includes laser marking of sizes to be cut and afterwards the cross cutting is done automatically. Boards are then automatically sorted according to their length. This saves a lot of time for sorting and makes stacking much easier. All the wood waste is automatically collected by conveyors and then transported to the wood chipper. This significantly reduces labor costs for customers.
