We bought the double cut machine and it weighs in at around 27,000 pounds (12 t). The cutting and return speed are much faster than anything else we found. It takes a learning curve to get used to all of the features, but we are managing nicely. If you want an extra heavy duty band saw to stand up day after day to the sawing of large hardwood logs, this is the mac-hine to buy.
